Game on! Elevate your snack game with these savory stuffed potatoes featuring sliced merguez sausages – the ultimate crowd-pleaser for game days or gatherings!
1 pack of Cooked Sliced Merguez Sausages
6 large potatoes
1/2 melted butter
1 cup of grated cheese of your choice
green onions to taste
Preheat your oven to 400°F. Scrub the potatoes thoroughly, then place them on a microwave-safe plate. Pierce them several times with a fork. Microwave them, uncovered, on high until tender, for about 12 to 15 minutes.
Fry the sliced cooked sausages in a skillet for a few minutes until they are toasted.
Cut the potatoes in half and remove the insides.
Top potatoes with cheese and cooked sliced sausages.
Place in oven until cheese is melted, for 5 to 7 minutes.
Garnish with green onions to taste.
These potatoes are “baked” in the microwave to speed up preparation. Alternatively, you can boil them in a pot until they are fully cooked.
