It is this love and passion for eating well that has been passed down to us from generation to generation within our family. A family business since 1953, Cristina, Carlo, Ricardo and Alissa, the third generation of the Ramacieri family, continues the commitment to offer our customers superior quality Italian deli meats, sausages and pepperoni.
Pasquale Ramacieri Sr was originally a salesman of an American style pepperoni.
In 1953, he met Chef Luigi who would become his partner for 15 years. From agriculture, to processing, to curing, the education received from Luigi could not be more ideal for Pasquale’s vision; offer their traditions to the people of Quebec. With Pasquale’s business acumen, and Luigi’s charcuterie knowledge, Roma Foods was the first manufacturer to offer locally made Italian deli meats in Quebec.
