Roma pimps your yard! – Contest rules
The Roma pimps your yard contest is organized by Roma and takes place from midnight on March 1, 2019, to 11:59 p.m. on August 31, 2019, inclusively.
The contest is open to Quebec residents aged 18 and over.
The contest is not open to employees, agents and representatives of the company, its divisions, affiliates or parent companies or their advertising and promotional agencies, suppliers of prizes, products or services related to this contest and any other person or entity directly involved in the conduct of this contest, or to members of their immediate family (father, mother, brothers, sisters, children), legal or common-law partners and any other person with whom these employees, representatives and agents reside.
No purchase necessary. To enter the Roma pimps your yard contest, individuals shall identify a UPC 12 code from a Roma product and fill out the online entry form on the Roma website at www.alimentsroma.com.
To enter in the contest without a UPC 12 code, individuals must send an original text, not mechanically reproduced, of at least 100 words explaining why they would like to enter the Roma pimps your yard contest by email to Roma at [info@alimentsroma.com], or by mail to the following address: Roma pimps your yard contest, 660 Wright Street, Saint-Laurent, QC H4N 1M6. Contest entrants must indicate that they are over 18 and include their date of birth and return address. If all these conditions are met, the contest organizers will send the prospective entrant a UPC code connected with the promotion. Each no-purchase entry request must be sent separately. Limit of one (1) no-purchase entry per person per day. Prospective entrants must submit their requests within a timeframe that enables the contest organizers to send them a ballot prior to the contest closing date.
Each UPC code can only be used once. Anyone who enters the contest multiple times in any way whatsoever (using different email addresses, home addresses or other information to create multiple registrations with the same name) will be automatically disqualified.
The deadline for entering is August 31, 2019, at 11:59 p.m.

Prizes cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for cash.
All eligible entries received will be entered into a random computerized draw to select the winners. The draw will be held on September 1, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Roma premises in Montreal. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Roma will contact winners by phone. Winners’ names will be mentioned on the Roma Facebook page and website.
Prizes will be awarded in descending order of value by the Contest Organizer; winners cannot choose which prize they are awarded.
To be declared a winner, individuals selected in the random draw must:
7.1 By entering this contest, entrants agree to be bound by these Contest Rules. Failure to comply with one or more of the terms and conditions stipulated herein will result in the disqualification of the entry of the individual in breach of these Contest Rules and, time permitting, the Contest Organizer will select a new winner in accordance with these rules until an entrant is selected and declared a winner; this process will in no way alter the order in which prizes are awarded.
7.2 All winners and their guests agree to release and hold harmless all subsidiaries, franchisees, parent companies and affiliated companies, as well as employees, agents and representatives, from any and all damages of any kind whatsoever, including but not limited to accident, injury, death, temporary or permanent loss of personal luggage or items, delays, setbacks, loss of enjoyment, annoyance, disappointment or mental or physical frustration suffered as a result of the acceptance or use of the prize. In order to be declared a winner, the person selected for the prize agrees to sign a Waiver and Release form.
7.3 The prize must be accepted as described in these Contest Rules, and cannot be substituted or exchanged for any other prize. Prizes are not transferrable or redeemable for cash.
7.4 The people on whose behalf the contest is held cannot be held in any way responsible or liable if their inability to act results from a fact or situation beyond their control, including the malfunction of any communication system or a strike, lockout or other labour dispute in their facilities or those of the organizations or companies whose services are used for the purposes of this contest.
7.5 All Contest entrants agree to abide by these official Contest Rules, and acknowledge that all decisions made by the authorized representatives are final and binding in every respect.
7.6 By entering this contest, the selected entrants hereby authorize the Contest Organizer and their representatives to use, if necessary, their name, photograph, image, statements concerning their prize, place of residence, and voice for advertising or promotional purposes, without remuneration.
7.7 Any dispute as to the organization or conduct of a publicity contest in the province of Quebec may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie for the sole purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
7.8 The Contest Organizer reserves the right, at their sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this contest, in whole or in part, in the event of a virus, computer bug, unauthorized human intervention or any other cause beyond the control of the Contest Organizer that may corrupt or affect the administration, safety, impartiality or normal conduct of the contest, subject to the approval of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec, if applicable.
7.9 This contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal legislation and regulations.
7.11 No compensation will be provided in the event that the prize or any part thereof must be cancelled for reasons beyond the Contest Organizer’s control (including but not limited to a natural disaster or extreme weather, riot or political unrest, strikes or other event), or if the organizers’ contractual obligations with their suppliers do not permit the reimbursement of the sums paid to the supplier in the name of the winner.
7.12 The Contest Organizer cannot be held responsible or liable for any claims, losses, damages, fees or expenses that may result from an accident, injury, or death, nor for any damages, loss of pleasure, annoyances, or frustrations of a physical or mental nature, or other inconvenience linked to the prize.
7.13 All conditions stipulated by participating wholesalers and partners are applicable.
