What better way to enjoy a night with family and friends than to eat your favourite finger foods?
Revolutionize your traditional pigs in a blanket recipe with Roma’s Smoky Peppettes!
1 (250g) package of Roma’s Peppettes
1 (8-ounce) refrigerated can Crescent Rolls
Ketchup and Mustard, for serving
Preheat the oven to 375°F.
Unroll the dough and separate the 8 triangles. Then, cut each triangle lengthwise into three equal, long and thin triangles.
Cut the Peppette into three equal-sized smaller pieces to get 21 mini Peppettes.
Put the mini peppettes on widest side of each triangle. Roll up each piece, starting from the widest end of the dough towards the thinnest.
Place the rolled Peppettes on a parchment-lined baking sheet, with the point side-down, ensuring they are evenly spaced.
Bake until golden brown for 12 to 15 minutes.
Serve the pigs in a blanket warm with mustard, ketchup and dipping sauces of your choice.
Take an extra step before baking by brushing the rolled Peppettes with a beaten egg. Then, sprinkle half of the rolls with everything but the bagel seasoning and the other half with sea salt.
