- 1 pack of Cooked Sliced Merguez Sausages
- 6 large potatoes
- 1/2 melted butter
- 1 cup of grated cheese of your choice
- green onions to taste
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F. Scrub the potatoes thoroughly, then place them on a microwave-safe plate. Pierce them several times with a fork. Microwave them, uncovered, on high until tender, for about 12 to 15 minutes.
- Fry the sliced cooked sausages in a skillet for a few minutes until they are toasted.
- Cut the potatoes in half and remove the insides.
- Top potatoes with cheese and cooked sliced sausages.
- Place in oven until cheese is melted, for 5 to 7 minutes.
- Garnish with green onions to taste.
Bonus
These potatoes are “baked” in the microwave to speed up preparation. Alternatively, you can boil them in a pot until they are fully cooked.
