Stuffed  Potatoes  with  Cooked  Sliced  Sausages

Ingredients

  • 1 pack of Cooked Sliced Merguez Sausages
  • 6 large potatoes
  • 1/2 melted butter
  • 1 cup of grated cheese of your choice
  • green onions to taste

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F. Scrub the potatoes thoroughly, then place them on a microwave-safe plate. Pierce them several times with a fork. Microwave them, uncovered, on high until tender, for about 12 to 15 minutes.
  • Fry the sliced cooked sausages in a skillet for a few minutes until they are toasted.
  • Cut the potatoes in half and remove the insides.
  • Top potatoes with cheese and cooked sliced sausages.
  • Place in oven until cheese is melted, for 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Garnish with green onions to taste.

Bonus

These potatoes are “baked” in the microwave to speed up preparation. Alternatively, you can boil them in a pot until they are fully cooked.
