Salami Bites

INGREDIENTS
- 15ml (1 tbsp.) honey
- 1 ml ( 1/4 tsp) crushed pepper flakes
- 1 parmesan salamino, cut into 12 bevelled slices about 3 mm ( in.) thick (see note)
- 12 small basil leaves, torn
- 1/4 fennel bulb, minced
- 12 shavings of parmesan cheese
- 1 orange, peeled, supremes lifted and cut in half Fennel leaves (optional)
PREPARATION
- In a small bowl, combine honey and chilli.
- 2 Place the sausage slices on a serving platter. Scatter over basil, fennel, cheese, orange and fennel fronds, if desired. Drizzle with spiced honey. Serve immediately.
