Ingredients

  • 1 (250g) package of Roma’s Peppettes
  • 1 (8-ounce) refrigerated can Crescent Rolls
  • Ketchup and Mustard, for serving

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  • Unroll the dough and separate the 8 triangles. Then, cut each triangle lengthwise into three equal, long and thin triangles.
  • Cut the Peppette into three equal-sized smaller pieces to get 21 mini Peppettes.
  • Put the mini peppettes on widest side of each triangle. Roll up each piece, starting from the widest end of the dough towards the thinnest.
  • Place the rolled Peppettes on a parchment-lined baking sheet, with the point side-down, ensuring they are evenly spaced.
  • Bake until golden brown for 12 to 15 minutes.
  • Serve the pigs in a blanket warm with mustard, ketchup and dipping sauces of your choice.

Bonus

Take an extra step before baking by brushing the rolled Peppettes with a beaten egg. Then, sprinkle half of the rolls with everything but the bagel seasoning and the other half with sea salt.
