Ingredients

  • 1 package (100 g) of Coppa Roma D’Italia
  • 2 pears, thinly sliced lengthwise
  • 1 burrata (about 225 g)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) lemon juice
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) olive oil
  • 5 ml (1 tsp) honey
  • Lemon zest
  • Chili flakes (optional)
  • Fresh basil

Preparation

  • Arrange the pear slices in a single layer on the serving plate, slightly overlapping them to cover the bottom.
  • Gently scrunch the coppa slices to give them volume, then arrange them evenly over the bed of pears.
  • Scoop out the creamy center of the burrata into a bowl and tear the outer shell into small pieces.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and a drizzle of lemon juice.
  • Spread the creamy cheese mixture across the plate, between the pear slices and the coppa.
  • Drizzle everything with olive oil, then a thin stream of honey.
  • Using a fine grater, zest the lemon directly over the plate.
  • Sprinkle with chili flakes, to taste.
  • Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
