Mortadella  Bruschetta

What  are  the  ingredients  for  Mortadella  Bruschetta?

  • Bread
  • Ricotta
  • A lot of Roma Mortadella
  • Maple syrup
  • Pesto :

    2 cups fresh basil leaves, packed

    1/2 cup freshly grated cheese

    1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil

    1/3 cup pistachio

    2 cloves garlic

    salt & pepper the juice of half a lime

Preparation  of  the  Mortadella  Bruschetta

  • Pesto :

    2 cups fresh basil leaves, packed

    1/2 cup freshly grated cheese

    1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil

    1/3 cup pistachio

    2 cloves garlic

    salt & pepper

    the juice of half a lime

    * Blend all together in a hand bender *

  • First bruschetta : 
  • toast some thick-cut bread on a heated pan with some olive oil to your desired crisp
  • spread some ricotta on the bread (generously)
  • stack bundles on mortadella on the ricotta
  • drizzle your fresh pesto on top
  • crush some extra pistachio and add it as a garnish
  •    Second bruschetta :
  • cut your mortadella into about 1/3 cubes
  • add to a hot pan to crisp
  • once crisped pour in some maple syrup to caramelize
  • add crushed black pepper
  • the juice of half a lemon
  • transfer to a bowl
  • toast your thick-cut bread in the pan with all the flavor that was left over
  • spread ricotta on the bread (generously)
  • add a mountain of that candy mortadella
  • and finish off with some lemon zest for freshness
