Role and responsibilities
– Ensure smooth and constant communication with the sales team and partners: managing portals, distributing updates, product/price changes, event timelines, and promotions.
– Provide administrative support to management and the sales team.
– Generate and analyze sales reports using platforms like Dadhri, Retail Link, and Circana: overall performance, by product, customer (e.g., Metro Score Card), or representative, etc.
– Manage the entire process related to customer promotions: approval, internal/external coordination, portal management, and tracking results.
– Evaluate the effectiveness of promotions and special activities, and suggest optimization strategies.
– Review Roma brand performance in-store, as well as that of competitors, while identifying market trends.
– Keep internal sales tools up to date: templates, offers, Teams files, product sheets, etc.
– Monitor competitor activities: track competitor promotions, update the internal calendar.
– Collaborate with the marketing department and contribute to strategic committees.
– Coordinate sales activities across different teams: sales, marketing, and logistics.
Skills and Training
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel) and ERP systems, Retail Link, or similar platforms.
– Excellent analytical skills, critical thinking, and a strong attention to detail.
– Education in administration, marketing, accounting, or a related field.
– Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
– Project management skills and interdepartmental communication abilities, both oral and written, in English and French.
– Initiative, autonomy, and a collaborative mindset.
Assets
– Experience in sales, marketing, or commercial coordination (asset).
– Knowledge of the food industry, consumer products, or distribution– experience in grocery or retail (asset).
