The fire in the Aliments Roma plant has greatly affected our production capacity. Although we had to put a stop to the production of some of our products , we stayed strong and bonded. The fire at the Aliments Roma plant destroyed the section that was dedicated to the chopping and mixing of our recipes. Unfortunately, that means we had to put a temporary brake to our sausage production.
We are happy to report there were no casualties during the accidental fire at the Roma plant. The event still shook us greatly, but it also showed us our team’s resilience. The accidental fire at the Roma plant: consequences and solutions
On Saturday, June 8, a section of our plant was hit by flames. Due to this accidental fire, we lost numerous pieces of equipment which were used for the chopping and mixing of our recipes. Many of you have noticed our sausages out of stock at the store. The fire at the Roma plant has had a serious impact on our production capacity.
We had to develop a plan B quickly in order to resume our production as soon as possible. Our team perseveres despite everything and we are delighted to announce that in a few weeks, a second Aliments Roma plant will open its doors. Even though the Roma factory fire has affected us all, our team is determined to deliver all our products.
Our new plant will be dedicated to the first stages of production, which will allow the return of all our products to your merchants. Our new distribution center will be dedicated to freeing up the storage of finished products and the receipt of goods. With the aim of improving the development process of the entire return of operations.

The return to production after the Aliments Roma plant fire
Good news ! As soon as our new plant will be functional, production will resume and you will again be able to purchase all Aliments Roma products. We are planning to open the second distribution center in a few weeks, but a date has not yet been set. Our prediction for the return of the sausages is still somewhere towards the end of September. It took us a few months and a new plant, but we’ll soon be ready to put a taste of Italy back on your plates!
