This year, from August 10 to 18, the Aliments Roma food truck was at the International Balloon Festival in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. We are proud partners of this must-see event. Our team was happy to introduce our authentic Italian products to all participants of the event!

A short history of the International Balloon Festival in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu
The history of the International Balloon Festival begins in 1984 when the Chamber of Commerce, the Office of Tourism and the Economic Council of Haut-Richelieu wished to launch a new summer festivity. Today, the event is in the top 5 largest festivals in Quebec even if it does not take place in one of the two big cities, Montreal or Quebec City. With an organizational budget that sometimes surpasses $8 million, it is also a high-impact event for the region.
In addition, this festival attracts an average crowd of more than 300,000 visitors. In 2010, it was estimated at more than 400,000 festival goers !
Since the beginning of the festival, hundreds of artists have enlivened the outdoor scenes. Artists like Rihanna, Simple Plan and the Backstreet Boys drew crowds to the event. Thousands of hot air balloons also covered the Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu sky. It is this passion and enthusiasm for the festivities that enticed Aliments Roma to join the International Balloon Festival! We are very happy to have been able to participate as partners.

Aliments Roma and the International Balloon Festival in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu have one value in common; that of tradition. We, by offering authentic Italian products, and the festival, by offering Quebecers and foreign visitors the chance to participate in a unique event of its kind.
Our team chose to be a partner due to the enthusiasm of people from across the province for the event. The Aliments Roma food truck was at the balloon festival for the duration of the event! We consider this event as a very family-oriented moment, which reflects well the values of our company . The festival is a wonderful event for families! The Aliments Roma team was delighted to introduce our meats and pepperoni s in our delicious paninis! Even though the weather was not on our side and there was only one flight, the fans as well as the participants remained jovial and seemed to enjoy the event.
In addition, the participation of the Aliments Roma food truck in the International Hot Air Balloon allowed us to answer many questions concerning our products. As you probably know, a section of our plant was damaged due to the accidental fire on Saturday, June 8th. We were able to discuss with many of our loyal customers and answer their questions about our progress and the return to grocery stores of our sausages .
